Unfortunately, viruses aren’t the only thing the masks don’t stop.

That’s not a new problem for many. Loud verbal blithering was endemic way before CV-19 added another excuse for perpetual outgassing.

How does that expression go? “I didn’t mean to push all your buttons; I was just looking for mute.”

My TV remote has the “Political Commercial Enhancer Button” it’s labeled MUTE. It also has a button to tune to my favorite network: OFF.

The mute button on Zoom only mutes your voice. Unless you are the one hosting the meeting, of course.

Let’s promote distancing and word mincing.

The only hard part about wearing a mask is that I’m functionally deaf and rely on an amount of lip reading to get by. Given the tone of some conversations, its ok.
