Brewster tried to trap the Stormtrooper in a pit. The Stormtrooper tried to shoot Brewster full of holes. And he thinks they’ve learned that violence is not the answer?
The only real “social distancing” that works is everyone stays in their own living enclosures – communicating electronically (and hopefully politely), if needed. All others don’t stop those SARS virus particles from floating around everywhere suspended in air to be inhaled by the next host. Concentrations get diluted rapidly outside, and increased inside with increased contribution. Building ventilation systems swirl the aerosols around. The only use for masks is to stop relatively large globs of coughed or sneezed out saliva and phlegm from being inhaled before they fall to the floor or ground. If you’re not sneezing or coughing or talking, the masks do not protect others – the virus particles are small enough to just pass through.
We learned that in Star Trek. Actually, it was in the 1944 SciFi short story “Arena” by Fredric Brown which has been ripped off tons of movies and TV shows.
