OMC! This could be my house. Our eldest cat – a female, ginger tabby – doesn’t like any of the other cats (the one she did like passed away in Dec). My daughter and her cats moved in with us in March when her university went online only. Her white female and said ginger can’t be in the same room with each other without getting in a fight.

I’ve watched The Cat do paw things in slow motion; when she’s not quite sure what she is going to do but wants her paw out there and ready. Like when she sees something new and slowly reaches a paw out. Then she either quickly bats at it or withdraws…

OT: Life in the head house

Ember has been known to hide … in boxes, around corners, etc … and leap out to smack Maverick as he walks by. Maverick (who, to be fair, is several years older) will just slow-motion boop her on the head from time to time.

I really really really hope that Lupin and Goldie are able to make up so that way we can see some other characters, anyone remember the raccoons, baba mouse, the chipmunk and squirrel? I just think that it would by very fun to see them again.

A slap-fight among friendly cats is hilarious but, if you blink, you might miss it. Startled cats may attack anything nearby. That’s what happened to Roy Horn of “Siegfried and Roy”, except it was a tiger.

It is also National Hamburger Day, which occurs twice a year as well it should. Other than obligate herbivores and fallen omnivores, everyone loves a good burger (not the hockey pucks sold by fast food joints, some of which taste good, but otherwise aren’t.) Now I’m hungry.

It is also World Nature Conservation Day. I need to conserve my worldly nature with a burger …

Lastly, let us never forget Buffalo Soldiers Day. The 9th and 10th Cavalry of the US Army served with great distinction, receiving more than a dozen Congressional Medals of Honor and numerous other awards of service and valor. It is also fitting that the Tuskegee Airmen be remembered on this day. Not only did these men serve their country well, they give the lie to racism everywhere.

I finally got a picture for my avatar. Mr. Tommy is on the left and Miss Pookie Poo (Taylor) is on the right. They’re bigger now, but I love this pic.

Elvis looks particularly upset with what happened to Puck. They better settle down and appologize to Puck before Elvis does a lot more than bop ’em on the nose.

And what kind of tea did there cause Puck to spill? Root beer, eggnog, Thai iced tea, green tea, gingerbread?

As a threat “I’m going to boop your nose in slow motion” strikes me as mild to the extreme but I gather it must be a horrible cat insult?

Has Goldie been told yet that Lupin’s deaf? It might clear up a thing or two. XD;;
