If only Leslie Lynch King, Sr. would’ve be proud of his son to be in the Oval Office (if he didn’t abandon his family for alcoholism and financial problems).

I bet the pontiff Ugolino di Conti spared cats of other colors, but it probably also didn’t help much with keeping the plague pandemics at bay.

And, of course, if you owned a black cat, it must mean you were a witch, right?

Eels were used as currency. I’m sure that really caught on.

I remember reading once that it is because of this extermination, it is now very rare to find a solid black cat. Most black cats have some kind of white fur patch somewhere on their body. To find a cat that is pure black from head to tail is very difficult. I’ve owned a few cats during my lifetime and only a couple were black and only one of those was pure black. He was the most intelligent, cunning and mischievous cat I had ever met, to the level of scary smart. He definitely kept us on our toes.

It is NOT news that killing the cats caused the plague to spread.

Perhaps because he (Ford) wasn’t elected to the office, he just happened to “stumble“ upon the position. (pun intended)

Learn what REALLY happened.“The purpose of Vox in Rama, rather, was to condemn a cult that had allegedly popped up in the Rhineland—and the bull was specifically sent to the city of Mainz. So, rather than being a document banning cats from Europe, it was a letter sent to a city warning them about a cult’The plague hit Europe 115 years AFTER the Papal Bull was issued. IF this bull was the cause of the plague, why did it take 115 years to occur?https://museumhack.com/black-cats-black-death/

We made a point of adopting older black cats until the last one died about 8 years ago. We adopted a pair of Siamese siblings and the next year we were given a pair of Chartreux kitten siblings. We have a tuxedo foundling who is now 5 years old. Five is about all we can stand.

My mom has two black cats. One of them just wandered into her yard from the woods, the other one she got from a shelter, and she loves them both to death.

This does not have to do with the strip itself, but I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem with this specific comic. I was following this strip for quite some time, and a few weeks ago, it disappeared from my followed comic list, when I found out what was happening, I followed it again. It stayed on my list since then, but today it disappeared, so I had to follow it again. I do not remember deselecting the following option at all. Could it be a glitch?
