A peanut butter and banana sandwich was a real treat for me. And forget about jam unless Mom’s morning had spun completely out of control. Much more likely to be some kind of lunch-meat with lettuce and condiments, but chopped black olives (maybe with cream cheese) was a personal favorite.

An example of what the real world sees when Calvin’s imagination goes wild.

The question is why did Suzie even started eating there ? Haven’t shee been warned before aleready…

Today’s strip is one example of a time when neither Calvin nor Susie understand one another. There are other instances where one of them understands the other well enough to manipulate him or her.

Was their a real Susie or someone like her and if so do they still communicate.

Wait till he becomes a freshman. He’ll probably get that facial pretty much once a week. Of course it’s not so bad since they will probably give him a swirly too. That should clean him up. …high school PTSD is not a thing is it?

I’ve missed posting, been in hospital for last few weeks, mystery infection in my leg so haven’t felt like posting, as they can’t find the origin or identify the bug docs are just using the broad spectrum anti biotics and upping the dosage by 20per cent, feel s like brute force and ignorance to me, anyway, if anyone was wondering as I wasn’t putting up my usual rubbish, that’s why, Dave.

You have to admire Calvin’s willingness to go the distance to entertain his audience. Too bad it’s lost on Susie.

When I was seven I tried to be Spider-man by spreading peanut butter all over the walls and trying to clime on it. I had to clean a lot that day.

I really wish we’d seen more of Calvin’s peers than Susie and Moe. I don’t think any of the other boys in his class would be grossed out by this – to pre-teen boys, “gross” is something to aspire to.

Oddly enough, I remember eating my peanut butter sandwich at about that same age, and thinking the same thing about girls. I grew out of thinking that – I guess we’ll never know if Calvin does.

I mean boys are like girls and girls are like boys (you already know what the differences are between them)
