I always had a baby face…got tired of everyone thinking I was younger than I was, so grew a mustache. Somewhere in my 30’s, grew a full beard, but a few years later, shaved it for job reasons. Then I grew what I have now in my 40’s, and haven’t changed since. Yes, I’m married, and she is ok with it. I keep it trimmed and nice.

Is the beard that important that you want to alienate your wife? How would he like it if she chose to shave her head and let her pits and legs get all hairy?

Bull freaking crap. The bed is half mine. I’ll sleep there if I want to. You don’t get to kick me out. You can move your butt in there Emily.

This concept that the man has to leave is nonsense. It’s half mine, and I’ll sleep in our bed in our bedroom in our house. YOU can move.

    Emily is so insanely petty.

I have to say, though I know it’s a comic, this kind of controlling behavior bugs me, to no end. Fifty years ago, my very first girlfriend gave me the same sort of ultimatum… I hadn’t even started shaving, yet, and had a little fuzz under my chin. She said “you’d better get rid of that, if you want to stay with me.” We broke up shortly thereafter.
