The return of Sofie!

Does Soapy play soccer? The extended Dill family could use her!

Sophie has to be wondering about that whole best friend thing.

The park bench is brilliantly done. I know all about it from how mom is sitting. And the cross-hatching underneath grounds her nicely.

I love the effort and progress of the climbing, up up, into the sky.

What a fun new adventure arc today’s strip is part of! Knowing that Petey’s not far away and in a new situation adds to the pleasure of anticipation.

I’ve got Alice up to 6 feet high, and Sofie at 9 feet. Not that jungle gyms were that tall when I was growing up, but they sure seemed like it back when I was a wee Dragon!!

I wonder if Sofie’s been trapped on that jungle gym since we saw her last!

I agree, dragon- and I’m also not sure about that, but we had just hard ground back in the day- I loved the high slide and the merry-go-round that you and others pushed with a foot and jumped on to hold on and spin!
