My favorite show growing up. The Mickey Mouse Club was, even then, too sanitized for my tastes. I guess I would be open to a combination of the shows, call it The Mickey Moose Club.
Bullwinkle was actually the more popular character on the original Rocky & Friends show, so when the network changed to another network, they renamed it The Bullwinkle Show.
Bill was also the voice of Bullwinkle (and Mr. Peabody, and Dudley Do-Right, and others). June was the voice of Rocky (along with Natasha, Nell Fenwick, and witches, princesses, and little boys too numerous to mention).
When Simon and Garfunkel first became famous, did anyone else think Garfunkel must a made-up name inspired by Bullwinkle, with his partner’s name apparently borrowed from one of the singing Chipmunks?
