This is how politicized the country is now. Taking a non-political comic and, instead of enjoying it for the humor it gives us, using it as a chance to drag politics into it and diminishing the humor and talent of the cartoonist. How about just enjoying the comic for what it is, rather than trying to make it something it isn’t. I’m sorry, Dave Whamond.

Yes, but what’s Waldo’s backstory? I imagine it’s pretty odd.
