Once again, the role of “Sam” is being played by Peter Griffin from “Family Guy”.
“Sam, we’re going to park. If this article is correct, there should be an empty space where the statue used to be. Not completely sure because I fished this out of the dumpster and there’s coffee stains on the last half of the article, but we have to go and confirm it. Then we go to the theater and see if it’s there. If it isn’t, I’m completely stymied as to where it could possibly be.”
Maybe we have this Emilio guy all wrong. Before he did the “Mr. Memory” gig he was a clown in the same circus as Presto. So he’s just going to give the info to Vitamin in an appropriate way: on a flag that’ll pop out of his toy gun!
What? C’mon, sillier things have actually happened in Tracyville lately…
It’s good to see that the Tracyville Daily still prints Late and/or Extra editions. It must be doing fairly well in these hard time for newspapers. —Unlike Mayor Armstrong, who finds herself replaced by a man in this Minit Mystery Tracyverse. Tsk tsk!
Meanwhile, Emilio Recalli seems intent on ventilating Vitamin Flintheart, who may be getting too near the truth with his snooping around and asking questions!. Can this spell doom for the Old Thespian? Will Tracy and Sam somehow arrive in time to save him? Will Kandikane Lane-Flintheart appear out of nowhere to save his life that is her life?
Not sure today’s strip advanced the story that much, & justified the use of a valuable Sunday strip, especially considering that this is a 2-week storyline & they don’t have Sunday strips to waste.
Interesting how covid is mentioned in the crimestoppers textbook today…after the CDC has ONCE AGAIN walked back their 150k total of coronavirus deaths and listed the ACTUAL, TRUTHFUL TOTAL as 9,210

Good morning™, bluffers!
Watch out, Vitamin! (… and our detectives are investigating the park first before they come to see Vitamin.)
In the normal continuity, the mayor has been a woman for the last few years. Here, it’s a man.

Dick and Sam are looking particularly cartoony today.

I can’t draw a stickman yet to be completely honest this artistic style makes me uncomfortable and nauseous.

Good morning™, about to die thespians !
If Vitamin lives Presto’s goin’ down, like the statue if he gets it away in time.

As Neil already noted, continuity error on the mayor.

“Can we stop for beer first?”
“Geez, Peter, stay in character, will ya?”
And off they go….

The Daily calls it a “priceless” statue, but yesterday we were told the cost was $2 million.

Presto has already struck. Sam has been replaced by a ventriloquist’s dummy.

A convenient crane and bricklaying supplies. Likely the statue was just moved a short distance and bricked up in some manner so as not to be visible

8am est and only 18 comments on a Sunday AND no recap of the week’s action from PQ77?
This Minit Misery has definitely developed an unrepairable transporter malfunction!

SAM: Not again! DT: Yep. Charlie Brown fell for Lucy’s football trick AGAIN!
SAM: Let’s go over there and arrest her for…fraud? DT: Nah. Charlie is too dumb to press charges.
JANITOR: You’ll regret it if you touch that glass I just washed. SUGAR DADDY: You mean, like this? Uh oh…

I haven’t noticed any clues yet, except the gun Emilio is carting around. This doesn’t look good for Vitamin. What is this guy up to?

That information is a .38 slug, or is it a .45?
