I don’t care what it takes for the cat to catch the mouse, just please catch it! I have 4 devices plugged in around my bathroom and bed area so I’ll feel safe to sleep and walk about. I don’t know where that last mouse went and I don’t want anyone to tell me the devices don’t work. I’m happy not to have seen any in my sleeping space.
My mom’s cat would bring in mice and voles and then let them go so the younger, adult cats could chase them. Could not break her of that habit. This cat had never been a mom, but she seemed to think it was her job to train the younger cats how to hunt.
Of my five cats, there is one in particular that pounces just the way this one is depicted. She elevates, seems to hang suspended in the air for an instant, and then appears to somehow accelerate downward on top of her prey. That poor catnip toy will never be the same!
Old houses in areas not completely paved yet will have the occasional mouse. A good full-time cat is the best, organic, safe cure. If it can perform on video, you’ve got yourself an Internet star.
The cat probably brought the mice in as a gift to show that he is a good mouse catcher. My cat, Kit Cloud, did it all the time. We all went crazy trying to get that mouse out. Best cat ever. Fun times.

I’d be more concerned that there are mice in the house, Clarence.

Kudos to Robb for drawing a realistic-looking mouse hole in a comic strip!
Also, I really like “Pof Pof Pof”.
