With everything we don’t know… and what we do know (how fast it multiplies, how deadly it is)… it seems extremely short-sighted (or worse) to send kids back to school before we have adequate quick-result tests and contact tracing… and better, a real vaccine. The folks who are touting the idea that kids are neither likely to become ill nor to transmit seem, to me, to be calling wishful thinking by the name “science”.
I miss the days when school started the day after Labor Day and finished in mid-June. My kids have to start in mid-August and get out before Memorial Day. You would think the schools would pay less for AC in June than in Aug.
That woman from Michigan is doing the best job she can, while being stifled by Rethugs.Let’s strip the power from Democratic Governors.Where were they when slick Rick sold the people of Flint down that polluted river?Back door deal with Enbridge?
For once, nobody in the comic is demonstrating potentially obnoxious smarts, athleticism, or laughable lack of either. I was going to say I have no complaints, but…well, it barely feels like “Frazz.”

Caulfield is missing having an audience for his bouts with Mrs. Olsen and the others. Hard to perform to an empty house.
I will also be interested to see how Mallett revises what would have been his normal arcs in the face of the virtual classroom movement.

And, by mid-September we’ll be in LOCKDOWN again as the virus spreads rampantly among the teachers, parents, and grandparents.

I like the little dandelion that’s managed to survive and ripen between two sidewalk slabs.

Death is not partisan and doesn’t care how you vote. If you expose yourself and/or your child to the virus, the Reaper may just give you both a hug.
