Rest in Power, King. Watched Civil War and Black Panther last night. He was so good in both.

It’s a sad fact that the younger you are when something in the cancer line goes wrong, the more threatening it is. If I understand the medicine, “neoplasms” pop up from time to time in all bodies, usually because of miscopying of genes in cell division, but there are mechanisms to straighten things out. If those mechanisms falter already in a comparatively young body, it’s very ominous.

Sadly it seems that Cancer strikes the best and brightest of us all. And Chadwick Bozeman was especially gifted to play some of the most influential black men in the history of the nation. Who knows whom else he would have played next. RIP Chadwick! Struck down in your prime and we all will miss you greatly. My condolences to your family, your friends, your colleagues, and to all those who were your fans.

I just found out, so I’m still in a state of shock. He hid it remarkably well. Wakanda will not be the same without him.

    Long live the King…

I have not yet see the movie, but everything I have read and seen impresses me. Both about how Boseman was in real life and how he portrayed the character, and the movie in general. I hope to see it someday.

I was diagnosed with colon cancer March of 2019, was in surgery by April (on the 15th), and had a loop ileostomy for three months to let the colon heal.I was LUCKY. Had I not been aggressive about asking for a colonoscopy after going to the doc about probable hemorrhoids, I would not have known about the cancer until it was killing me.Colon cancer kills silently. Boseman was only four year younger than me.

wonderful tribute. the marval universe has been a huge part of my family for so many years. it feels like one of our loved ones is gone. …………………. we have a friend whose 8 year old died of a rare cancer in his leg. meeting Black Panther was his wish list. Sadly that did not get to happen. His mom is convinced they are hanging out now
