He’s a monster, and should be tried as a monster.

If he were an unarmed Black man with his arms raised and complying with police, they would have shot him dead.

Also, let’s stop saying, ”This 17 year old belonged to a local militia,” when these militias are nothing more than gangs of terrorists. They’re not legal, they’re not responsible, and they’re unregulated. It would be like calling MS13 gangs “militias.”

C’mon, everybody knows that disobeying orders is a capital crime. (So is running away.) At least if you’re Black.

Apparently the kid’s lawyer is planning to argue he was the “well regulated militia” of the Second Amendment. Because I know when I think “well regulated,” I think of a teenager with a high-powered weapon he wasn’t legally allowed to own traveling to another state, without benefit of training and answerable to no one.

So damn true it is horrifying

This comic was prescient. Now a “Christian” charity has raised hundreds of thousand$ for his defense, and folks are selling tee-shirts on Amazon that pose him as a hero. I’m so disgusted with this country sometimes. But at least the racist cockroaches are showing themselves, making it harder to shove our biggest flaw in the closet. Now to see if we actually do something about it…
