It’s the world that laughs.

In my father’s words: “It’s funny ‘hmmm’, not funny ‘haha’.”

Ha… ha.

What did we know in 63? I was too young to realise…

Man is a destructive being…..Earth is begging for help….

Not “Ha Ha” funny, “weird” funny.

Humans make plans. The gods laugh.

We may laugh, but then we weep.

As a wise, old tree said, “Humans stink”… ☺

Funny peculiar not funny ha- ha as Cecil and Beanie used to say.

as one clown said to another clown – “it’s a funny world we live in” to which the other clown replied “yes, it is.”

Plus ça change…

I started a joke, which started the whole world crying

But I didn’t see that the joke was on me, oh no

I started to cry, which started the whole world laughing

Oh, if I’d only seen that the joke was on me

Certainly not 58 years later!

Irony is the polite face of sarcasm…
