The more scotch you add to your water, the more it tastes like scotch.

I certainly hope not. I want it to taste like ribs or chops or bacon & eggs.

I never understood why people claim to think pizza is so tasty until we started making our own… and then after I knew what was possible I began to find some commercial pizza that’s also pretty good. Still, it’s nowhere near the top of my list.

Most “knowledge” is just catching up to what is already known by others. Imagination is what can add to that knowledge base.

We all tend to benefit from the knowledge of others without ever knowing the stuff even exists. Ever try to explain why your cell phone is the only one to ring (nearly anywhere in the world) when someone calls you?

Have you been to a store lately, where thy sell “premium” water? There are waters tasting like almost anything imaginable and some unimaginable things, too.

Never understood why people hate water! It’s (supposed to be) tasteless. I can always drink some water!

The good and the bad are both necessary parts of life. However, I too want my life with more pizza…..

The concept of need is vastly exaggerated. Most desiderata in life are simply wants, not needs. Hell, you don’t even need light or gravity. In fact, boil it all down, and there are really only 5 things in life that you truly need: (1) food, (2) water, (3) air, (4) a reasonable temperature range, and (5) chocolate.

I know that the writer seems to be imagining that the school is open, but mask wearing is optional, even banned. Even though at one point he wrote about how classes would be online.
