Nancy’s dancing awfully close, did Jesus standing betwixt them get inked too?

Why would anyone bring a pen to a dance…much less a fountain pen?

First, they didn’t have ballpoint pens back then. Second, “don’t soil your” became “don’t get dirty” in the ’40’s or thereabout.

Fritzi should know better than to dress Nancy in anything but camouflage.

I one time put a Bic pen in my pants pocket upside down and it leaked all over. Back in the early 1970’s I used to buy Sheaffer cartridge pens that had a fountain pen bottom to write with.

Good job including the dotted sight-line! I couldn’t be sure Fritzi noticed that, otherwise.

Knowing her that is probably really a blueberry pie stain.

Looks like that boy should have worn protection.

Who would dress a little kid all in white?

I still use a fountain pen, especially when I write notes at Christmas.
