    @Number Three Today’s strip is slightly funny and a play on words , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp just goes to the job center so that he can continue to collect the dole, he avoids work more than the devil hates Holy water :o) my avatar is a picture of my birth sign Leo smoking which reminds me that it’s been three years on the 25th of Sep 2017 that I have not smoked or wanted to a cigarette, how was your day? , our Finally Friday should be busy but happy because Bella is coming home , the Vet yesterday sent us a picture of her on messenger and she looked content, you know what? I am happy at last :o) stay safe and thanks for caring pal

    There is no such thing as a “perfect job” for Andy.

    Andy has the best job in the world: main character in his own comic strip. And what a character he is.

    I am waiting for Eldo to comment. I want to chastise him for his earworm from yesterday. He infected Samson with it as evidenced by today’s Dark Side of the Horse. Eldo apparently is a Typhoid Larry and who knows which strip he will infect next.

    I heard there is an opening in the Supreme Court. Perfect opportunity for Andy Capp who has already been a court marshal.

    Andy was always an example to his fellow soldiers, a bad example.

    @Number Three As soon as they brought Bella back and let her out of the pet carrier, she ran around the house even ran upstairs to check that every room was as she had left them :o)

    I had a call from the Jobcentre this morning. Because of COVID, they have stopped all face to face appointments.

    They were checking up to see how I was doing and if I was finding everything OK.

    They rang me 2 weeks ago as well but I missed it.

    xxx

    @Afficionado

    I had plans to go out today but we are currently having some horrendously strong winds.

    I wouldn’t mind going out when it’s raining but the wind is another matter altogether.

    So pleased to hear that Bella is home. However many “Likes” this comment gets, equals a stroke for Bella.

    Will be here until turnover and then I’ll be back on Monday.

    Stay safe, stay well and take good care of your furry Queen, pal.

    In his youth, Andy took several aptitude tests. In each one, the job he was best suited for was RETIREMENT!
