Just don’t look in the mirror, because it’s better to see, than worry about a few wrinkles and gray hairs. Not to mention, they are there whether you can see them or not. :P

A horse who needs glasses? Now I’ve seen everything.

Without my new glasses, I never would have discovered that my mirror is defective. I haven’t found one that works properly yet.

Cameras seem not to be working so well, either.

Getting my eyes checked and getting glasses is one of those aging things I’ve been avoiding

Need my reading glasses more as time goes by, at least I’m getting used to wearing them

Hope Horace never needs hearing aids… They wouldn’t blend in well either…!

Well, that’s a hundred or so down the drain…those glasses typically don’t come cheap, you know.

Don’t horses eat carrots? They should never need glasses.

Use the old magic mirror. Sister has an ancient one in the hall. All the wrinkles vanish.

A Houyhnhnm that needs glasses? He is a throw back, at least partially. Houyhnhnms have reached the pinnacle of sapien development. Total protoplasmic control of their bodies. Horace shows some of their abilities and not others so he isn’t a full recessive phylogenically. What makes him a rebel and renegade. It also makes him mortal.

So his vanity is still greater than his curiosity?

I was sure I look better when I don’t wear my glasses. Then I realized, everyone looks better when I don’t wear my glasses.
