My dog and cat used to expect two meals, old time and new time, when the time changed. A lot of whining until it was settled.

It’s not Charlie Brown’s fault that you forgot to reset your stomach clock, Snoopy. That’s something that you just have to think of yourself!

is it a good thing Peanuts didn’t get set or written in Arizona or Hawaii?

I’m not sure why the Sunday strip leaves out one panel which is present in the “en Espanol” strip.

It would be nice if the “Authorities” would just leave in Standard Time. I know the Government started all this Daylight Savings Time stuff back in WW I. But I think that the nation has advanced enough not to need changing the clock twice a year.

You see, even our dogs and cats know that Daylight Savings Time is BS.

They’ve been debating this for so long, I wish they’d make the change already and get rid of it permanently.

I used to volunteer at a zoo and always felt bad for the animals. They were used to meals at specific times and got agitated on this day. I convinced a couple of keepers to feed them 1/2 hour earlier.

This 1973 comic strip is still funny.

My friend the dog owner delays meal time by ½ hr for a week or 10 days and then another ½ hr the next week or 10 days to help the adjustment

No one likes messing with the clocks. Can’t we leave them be?

Dog owners around the country will be dealing with this today. Homes will echo with cries of “Go lie down! It’s not time!”

My stomach’s internal clock will be jacked up for a while too. It’s not fun.

I’m confused. If Snoopy is use to being fed at 6 o’clock, but the clocks get turned back, shouldn’t he be being fed and hour earlier than normal?

Just leave the time alone!

My stomach bawls me out all the time!

There’s a little problem with taking medications at the same time every day, also.

I haven’t heard the term “bawled out” since my mom passed away 20 years ago.

His stomach is grawlixing.

Once again we are forced to correct the error we make every spring when we mess with the clocks. Now that we are back on Standard Time, leave it there. Standard Time is the true time, with noon recorded when the Sun appears highest in the sky (hence the term “high noon”). DST is bogus time.

There is more sunlight during the spring and summer because of the tilt of the Earth on its axis. Changing the clocks has absolutely nothing to do with it. The government has merely fooled people into getting up an hour earlier, which creates the illusion of a “longer day.” DST serves no purpose. It doesn’t save energy, help the farmers, or any of the other myths that continue to circulate.

Standard Time should be permanent. It is “standard” after all. Those who still wish to pursue that mythical longer day are free to get up an hour earlier during the spring and summer months.

Congress is responsible for this nonsense. Contact your representatives and tell them to get rid of this antiquated WWII-era practice.

Either Daylight Saving Time should become out ‘standard’ time, or it should entirely. Snoopy and his stomach would agree.

Our clocks changed a week ago here (Europe) and my dog still is looking for diner an hour early!

The definition of impossible is trying to explain DST to a cat that wants his breakfast.

Its nice that at least Good Old Charlie Brown’s strip is synced to the proper day. One other old recycled strips just celebrated New Years, and another is approaching Christmas.

This will be me for about a month, up an hr early, and hungry an hr early.

My dog did the same.

If Charlie Brown ever served in the military, when he grew up, and ate in a chow hall, you can bet he got bawled out by a stomach, again…HIS!

An hour here and there should not matter. What matters is the growling stomach. Time for supper CB.
