Looks a bit like a Russian nesting doll.

You’d think that Garfield’s fat and fur would be enough.

As I have three fluffy quilts on my bed. Two more close at hand. A couple of thin blankets to fill up any gaps in my mountain. And at least three antique quilts waiting around for snow.

This is what happens to people who grew up in the desert. Anything below 40 – cold!!! Below 32 and we pull out ice picks!

The only reason I need a light blanket is the air conditioner. At 2:00 am EST, it is still in the upper 70s here.

love the weight of extra blanket to snuggle under. Helps you sleep compared to only a sheet in summer

The mouse must have a really big blanket for Garfield to need to use it!

Jon must turn down his thermostat at night. Invest in a programmable unit Jon, which will turn on your furnace so that the house is your desired temperature when you decide its time to roll out of bed.

Our solution is simple: top sheet, doubled-up down comforter on her side, quilt.

Garfield, don’t be a blanket hog. Just turn the heat up. That’s what I do.

At least it isn’t like in “Calvin and Hobbes” where Calvin’s parents refuse to turn up the thermostat even during the Winter, even though Calvin always insists on doing so, but is always ruled out in that suggestion.

My dog is like Garfield. The more blankets the better. She wears a sweater too and our house is never under 70

I declare Garfield the “hoarder of warmth” since he likes to collect all the blankets in the house. He hogs more blankets (nine) than my father does (two at most). #blanketthief :)

I need to start getting out my warm blankets, although, for the time being, we’ve been having some pretty weird fluctuations in temp, somewhere around a week or two ago we had a day that maxed out in the 80s…in October?!?! and I kid you not, the very next day was in the 30s.
