@distortion, you remind me of the time at the dinner table I started to cough and choke and my mother asked if I needed to be patted on my back, and I gasped out “no” — and she automatically said “Say no thank you.”
I have many times seen women wearing the most gorgeous hijabs so beautifully draped and I am always speechless with admiration. The only way I can keep a scarf on my head is to imitate the Queen Elizabeth in the countryside look with scarf tied firmly under chin.
I never understood the uproar. When I was stationed in west germany. I noticed many of the women working in field wore something similiar as do many woman field workers do here in California. I can see your face clearly so no big deal.
