Wonder how long it to Crane to come up with these ditties. . .anyway, KUDOS! Maybe they could be collected in one of those “slim volumes of poetry” and sold for pennies. . .

I wonder if Jeff Foxworthy would consider a guy in a recliner, writing doggerel, while wearing a cowboy hat, with his shoes off, as his wife brings him a sandwich, a redneck? Possibly, but Earl and Opal do live in a house, not a mobile home, so it is debatable. 8>}

When it comes to our dining room table my wife and I are decliners. We’d rather sit and eat our meals nestled comfy in our recliners. Our tv trays loaded up has become our meal time table. ’Tis true I lie not, this is what we do and I am telling you no fable.

This is so befitting to today’s society…

Oh that would never work in my house. Earl you are so lazy.
