Dr Mittens is Loosing It! Apparently rhyming drives him nuts and he just can’ help it. He rhymes all the time!

I think someone has been watching far too much Princess Bride.

Bandit and Paisley need to be checking the foundation! Old buildings sometimes have basement walls made of stacked field stones. Cats have an amazing ability to flatten and squeeze through small openings.

And while I’m not watching this, I’ll take a moment to point out that, although 31 October brings ghosts, vampires, witches, The Mailman, werewolves, and other denizens of The Other World, we here in Queensland face an even greater horror.

It is our State Election, in which we have to decide which combination of crooks, idiots, incompetents, and crazies will form the next state government.

Clark Update:

Good progress but slower than we hoped. The medication seems to be working. Clark’s bladder is much closer to normal size. His blood panels have dropped 1/3 out of the abnormal high range and are approaching normal. It appears that his own muscle action is now causing his bladder to empty.

He will remain on IV fluids and catheterized until tomorrow AM. Catheter will be removed and they will monitor to make sure he can urinate without assistance. Possibly home tomorrow night but they might go for one more night of monitoring and cut him loose on Saturday.

Someone’s probably already said it, but I like the diamond marking. It looks like the tattoo used in Dune to indicate a doctor has been conditioned not to betray his lord.

I don’t know why, but I read that in Gomez Addam’s voice. Which is even weirder because if I had to pick a TV married couple that was a ‘role model’ for me – it was Morticia and Gomez.

Remember that Bewitched episode when Samantha kept rhyming? It’s a little known fact that that spell is indestructible, and often infects people just when they are trying to be really really serious.
