When I was in H.S., a buddy of mine & I would go to the local ball field and play ‘home run derby’ on hot sunny days. Sessions would usually last 90 min, taking turns at bat, chasing down balls, etc. When we were done, we would be so dehydrated that we’d stop at a local store and each buy a 32 oz (qt) bottle & a 16 oz (pt) bottle of some soda. When we’d finished all that, we would ‘slosh’ as well .. at least for a while.

My guess is he’s stretching his stomach in prep for Thanksgiving

Maybe it was the fly from yesterday’s comic that made him drink all of the drinks since the fly spoiled his meal.

I was going to say he won’t have room for Thanksgiving dinner but the “problem” will have been eliminated by then.

I feel that way after a few beers with the gang.

I often feel this way after having a bowl of “corn chili bisque”. Mostly because it is usually just has a hint of spiciness, where I am drinking more water than usual, but not hot enough to slow me down.

Jon will pretty soon run out of toilet tissue with that kind of combination in Garfield’s gut
