Needle punctures are actually pretty likely to cause an infection: Narrow, don’t bleed enough to wash out any pathogen.

I guess finding a needle in a couch is easier than finding one in a haystack.

YUP! it’s always my foot or my arm that finds all the needles. My wife laughs every time.

Better in the bum than the foot.

Funny how she always sets her needle down on Earl’s spot.

Mom and my sisters were sewing. “Oh, shoot, I dropped my needle,” Mom said. One volunteered to find it. “Oh, no problem,” Mom said. “Tentoes, can you come here!”

Of course, we all understood the joke.

(In case you missed it, I rarely wore (wear) shoes.)

With my hubby he sits on his recliner and when he sits on the couch is because the setting sun shines on that recliner.

Trying to decide if that needle puncture is more painful or stepping on one of those damned Leggos our kids left on the floor back in the day !

You’d think by now he’d wise up.

At last, Earl got it right where it did him the most good!

Opal is a pain in Earl’s rear-end in more than one way!

My wife used to sew the kids’ clothes when they were little, but the pins and needles were only in the sewing room. Now that sewing room is my office and she only crochets. She loses those hooks all the time, but, thankfully, hooks aren’t sharp.

Grannies and their knitting needles! A hazard to society. Haha.

All of a sudden, Earl got a stabbing pain in his rear end.

We have “stickers” in our yard and it there’s any in the house, I’ll find them, just like he found the needle.
