I’ve often wondered if there was reincarnation could I be reincarnated on a different planet? Not to say anywhere else may not have it’s issues, but it would be nice to deal with something somewhat different for a change of pace. Though I would miss the horses.
@ClayDennis – On the other hand, variety of subject matter offers artists interesting changes of pace and a chance to express alternate viewpoints on modern life. Also gives readers changes of view, as well as the challenge to guess what’s coming next – and, best of all, to be surprised.
The relationship between God and Time has consumed years and years of speculation among systematic theologians. Time which was wasted and can never be recovered. Would have been better spent in helping those in need… Sorry, totally off track. Interesting to see Homer being dropped in a wildly different point of time from prior incarnation.
For a guy that seems to reincarnate repeatedly, Homer seems to spend a lot of time thinking about extinction. Not really seeing a roll for the dog here. Well, maybe a space chimp.
As I recall the last time we left Homer at birth, he was the son of his soulmate and we never returned to that story line either. I wonder if we will go back to the future eventually or will it be an untold tale lost in the mists of time?
Does anyone recall if Homer has ever been reincarnated as a female? I think he was but I haven’t got a clue where or how to hunt through the archives to see if me memory is correct.
At age 76, having spent most of my life overeating and hardly moving, I’m the veritable picture of good health. I chalk it all up to my own fine taste in parentage.

I don’t believe in reincarnation. I never believed in it in any of my previous lives, and I’m not going to start now…

My health insurance company refused to pay my bill because I believe in reincarnation. They said I had a pre-existing condition.

Couldn’t I just hang out in Elysian fields for a while or just sit down with a year’s worth of GoComics funnies and resulting comments?

I wish artists would stop equipping afterlife souls or beings with wings. It makes no sense; aeronautical or otherwise.

Either we will never see Homer again, we will see him in a different solar system, or we will see him in Captain Eddie’s parallel universe…

On the Babylon 5 show the Mimbari believe in both a soul and reincarnation. That certain humans are reincarnated Mimbari. Why the war was stopped.

The very distant future it would seem.

Obviously, Homer hasn’t yet learned to be careful about triggering God’s sense of humor.
