Some days were big paydays. Fewer clothes, more fees.

I remember a Dick Van Dyke show from the Sixties, that began with Sally calling Laura from an Art exhibit to tell her about a certain painting she was looking at. Something that Laura did years earlier had suddenly appeared in public!

Posing is hard work; the models earn every penny of their fee. Nothing provocative about it either; the artists are working on rendering a 3-d object with complicated contours in 2-d media.

I wonder what Janis will think when Arlo confesses that he posed nude for Art Class. Yes, guys did that,

My wife was a homecoming queen in high school. I didn’t know her until later in life. She still looks good these many years later. I would love to have or at least have seen artistic works done of her as a young woman naked had any been done…..

It would have to have been a VERY progressive college to have had nude modeling in the 60s and 70s. Models were required to wear bodysuits or body stockings. However someone could privately model nude if they chose to do so and some did.

You just have to be very still.

Snappy answer, never really admitted anything allowing for plausible deniability later, until her nude statue shows up.

Although the ‘some days’ might be a bit disconcerting when a ‘yes’ would have sufficed without quantifying things.

I rarely model nude unless you count going out to get the paper in the morning.

I knew a guy, so long ago. He good muscular definition. His G/F was taking art classes & heard of the need for models. She convinced him to pose. She told me all he wore was a speedo. He liked the compensation but not like it when guys asked him out. G/F thought that was funny.

I think he was referring to her body shape in the older one. The class she modeled for sounds like quick sketches or a painting or two. I think she would probably have mentioned modeling for a sculpture.

not likely a close couple together so long would have such secrets.
