Well, I suppose they could call for backup and sit around waiting for them to arrive, but if they needed backup they would have had it when they left the station, wouldn’t they?
TRACY: OK. You shoot anything that moves down that way and I’ll shoot anything that moves down this way. But first I’m going to grab a bottle of Eue De Parfum for Liz…
Three great panels of art today. And Elegance Fragrances turns out to be a much larger and more complex place than I had hitherto imagined (having thought it to be just a front room & backroom workshop kind of storefront).
As usual (sadly) Tracy rushes in where a prudent man would hesitate and await backup. Worse yet, he splits up with Sam in an unknown environment! —They could end up shooting at each other by mistake, if Yeti’s machine pistol (as I said yesterday, sorta resembling a Walther MPK https://tinyurl.com/yyj4tgs) on full auto doesn’t hose them down first!

Good morning™, cautious searchers !
This reminds me of cartoons where they go back and forth through multiple doors trying to catch someone. Hijinks ensue.

Hint, hint! They already got away!
Only the rock is bringing him back!

You call in extra (backup) police to cover all the doors and prevent escape or re-entry…

Almost forgot! Anybody (else) heard from Willy007?
Hoping he hasn’t gone the way of Morrow and Vista Bill!

Good – we don’t have a case of “they open the door and the bad guy is waiting.” We get some suspense and danger.

This just doesn’t seem to be the proper way to secure a crime scene.

That would make too much sense. This is the comics, after all.

Kinda makes me glad that, for the time being at least, tracy isnt the head honcho in my story…which I fully intend on creating another tale
“Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend " got “rave reviews” so I’m gonna start a new story fairly soon…I’ll let ya know when its posted
