Did he really plan for this? I’m not so convinced. I don’t know what kind of gun that is, but it doesn’t look like a dart gun this time.
I’m a little confused about why Tracy and Sam set off at high speed to go to the museum and now they suddenly arrived at the perfume warehouse. I guess they were guided by the drone that spotted Yeti’s truck, but it seems like we missed something to explain their sudden change in direction.
You know, for a guy that Tracy and friends don’t know exists, that’s a mighty fast detection – and deduction – that this is their “perp.”
They don’t know as yet about the meteorite or Daisy, about to be pushing up daisies, so if Yeti keeps his cool, he’s nothing more than “in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
But then, we know that’s not what Yeti is going to do.
By the by, this story is due to end this week, right Wichita?
But Good Morning™, Fully Loaded Fall-Back Positioners!
If Yeti has prepared for this scenario then, besides the gun he’s holding, he might likely also have installed “external defensive measures.”
But nothing seems to going according to the meticulous plan we heard boasted about. Maybe Yeti graduated from UMM-YA, University of Megalomaniacal Masterminds – Youth Academy?? The school was founded in 1950s Belgrade by this guy Kronsteen:
After he empties a few clips of ammo at the cops, Yeti runs and hides. But wait, there’s more! During the exchange of gunfire, Clyde’s cage is shattered. He then escapes from his cage, scampers up the wall and across the ceiling … and he is not very happy.
While Yeti is hiding, he sees a drop of Clyde’s venom eating into the barrel of his gun. Almost immediately he feels another drop burning into his scalp. Yeti then looks up and Clyde drops on his face …. … (Visualizations from Alien & sequels)
I’ll skip my usual complaint about timing problems to assure Yeti that shooting your way out of trouble is a good solution. It worked for Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Bonnie and Clyde, Dillinger, the Barker gang, Ned Kelly, the James gang at Northfield MN, Pretty Boy Floyd, etc. (Actually, on a couple of those the gang was big enough for a few to escape to the next shootout.)
So- did they SEE him committing the crime? Do they even KNOW a crime has been committed? He’s not in possession of the stolen meteorite. They saw his van a couple of times. Unless they watched it the whole time.
The Crimestoppers tip made me wonder what cops with body cams do when they go to the urinal. If they forget to turn it off they could get in trouble for sending Anthony Wiener style pics. If they turn it off and then forget to turn it back on, they’ll get in trouble for that. If female cops forget to turn it off, Chuck Berry will be bothering them for the footage. Well, he would’ve…
Dude should have stuck to the poison supply business. He really sucks at being a crook. Also, leaving Daisy behind alive to squeal, that’s a bad mistake.
Yeti is really worried about that speeding ticket he might get. I mean do Dicko and Sammie even know about the heist? And where’s the evidence? . So many holes, so many holes.
Additional Meaningless Trivia # 2: In working up ‘Daisy,’ I went overboard (none of my characters just pops up without some idle speculation and a back story) and gave him in identical twin (well, not completely — the brother dresses like a slob in direct opposition to ’Daisy’s’ fastidiousness) who was a ruthless gun for hire.
Yeti has armed himself with some variety of machine-pistol (of those I quickly reviewed, Yeti’s weapon, though obviously a cartoon construct, most closely resembles the Walther MPK). Tracy and Sam may be temporarily outgunned (I assume they carry only their service pistols, most likely Glock 17s or 19s), but ultimately they have the advantage against the albino hothead. Anyway, it looks as though a shootout at the perfume shop is imminent….
I know we live in a more rushed age, but I think sometimes it might be fun to see a Tracy villain actually performing actual criminal schemes, beginning to end, such as Chester Gould did. Now it seems a bad guy shows up & gets caught or killed just for … showing up.

A sewer rat no nimble cat. Daisy takes a tumble
Feels something break. Make no mistake, ill-timed was the stumble.
Meteorite Yeti clutches tight. Soon back out on the street
Hitting the road, the thug has no code, ‘cept to avoid the heat.
Meteorite abandons ship, exits out the rear
Yeti lost his cargo, shall not shout nor shed a tear.
Eye in the sky does fly close by. Yeti gets no relief
Never manic. Feels no panic when armed to the teeth.
Should Tracy stick his beak in, he’ll need to be corrected
Poison purpose. Steele resolve. No qualms or fears detected.

Love the artwork on the Suspect Detected panel. Reminds me of an older metal band photo shoot.

I wonder if Yet I checked his gun since Daisy “borrowed” it and shot it at Dick Tracy ?
If it is still unloaded…

I don’t think this guy has done much criminalling- he certainly doesn’t keep his head under pressure.

Well, at least he keeps his guns in a gun safe.
