Sometimes, even low expectations aren’t met.

Sorry, but considering the rate of this pandemic + other issues, it really won’t.

It’s a start.

One thing you can say for 2020… It’s set the bar pretty low for next year being better.

One word of advice Rat…don’t jinx things.;-D

“Better” is a very mutable thing. Depends a lot on who’s doing the perceiving.

Considering who’s getting ditched in January, it has to be better.

Do you think the year will get the message?

Piece of cake. Literally. Eat a piece of cake sometime during 2021, and it will automatically be better than 2020.

That is a good daily goal as well!

Well, to look on the bright side, we learned a lot in 2020.Which does not mean it was pleasant.

I promise all of you, if you dig deep and really think about this year with all of it’s chaos, everyone can find at least 3 positive things about this year.

As you often hear in sports after a bad season, 2021 will be a “rebuilding” year.

They say “Hindsight is 20(/)20”. That can’t happen soon enough!

Any year will be better than 2020! looking forward to a new and improved AMERICA!

This year was fine (except I didn’t get to work from home). Next year will possibly end poorly

2020 has set a low bar; I hate to think how bad things have to be for 2021 to be worse. Pray we don’t find out.

On 1/1/21 I’m looking forward to the end of comics about how much 2020 sucked.

My son has lost 25 pounds over the last two weeks. Covid does that to you, because you can’t eat and what you do force down is likely not to stay down. I don’t recommend this as a diet strategy.

Yeah, that’s pretty low-hanging fruit right there.

A low bar, to be sure, but if the past year has taught us anything, it’s to keep our expectations low.

It’s not asking for much, Rat, but at the same time it’s asking for too much….

The only bright spot is getting a competent president to take over. And, I’m not crazy about him— Biden is the same as 2021, compared to Trump and 2020. I’m not thrilled, but unless we have a nuclear war or extinction level asteroid, 2021 can’t get any worse than 2020 was.
