I think someone tampered with the translation service.

I always remember Gary Larson’s professor who invented a dog translator. As he wanders the streets, the only translation he hears is “Hey! Hey! Hey!” Limited vocabulary.

@tad1 . . . During treacherous (icy conditions) long doggie walk this morning I heard honking overhead … and saw a lovely V shaped flock of geese on their way eastward. Beautiful sight in perfectly blue cloudless sky. Moments later, after that inspirational sighting, my pup finally produced and we gladly returned home for breakfast and to warm up.

Don’t know if you remember, but for a brief time we had the ability to plant actual emojis on the page. I miss those days. :-(  I think you get that one.

I love you, Woof! BTW anyone out there who has a 2020 ten cats calendar be sure to check out the December cartoon. I’m pretty darn sure that is WOOF who is talking and helping decorate the Christmas tree——not Jack. Take a look for yourself and see what you think!

While I question the accuracy of the translations, I still think Woof is making a commendable effort. On another note, saw two squirrels while out walking today.

Today I was caretaking a dementia patient who is currently residing at my daughter’s until his daughter can come from Guatemala to take him home with her. My daughter had to work, also tomorrow…so I am caretaker again. He had open heart surgery at the end of October,, then had a stroke. He can’t afford the $200 a day at the Veterans Facility ( assisted living). He’s my age (74) and was a co-worker of my daughter, and just retired in the spring. He came out to fish in her ponds and sit with her chickens. We sort of suspect he was having some beginning of dementia when he retired. Anyway he has a while to wait after his surgery before he can fly to Guatemala. I basically had to make sure he ate lunch and stayed out of the rain…and knew how to use the remote to watch TV. I went back and forth 5 or 6 times to be sure he was ok…I live a tenth of a mile from my daughter.
