If he had an activated chip, this situation would have a potentially more positive outlook.

Many years ago we had an indoor cat escape and get lost

Spent a few weeks wandering the neighborhood calling him

Went to check out a lot of the wrong cats from calls on our lost cat posters

We knew we had him back when a call came in and they said they got our phone number from his collar

Shame on you, Len! If that poor cat is hurt or worse… it’s on YOU

She’ll unlock the door when you come back with the cat.

He’ll be back when he darn well feels like it, with a mouse offering for the family. That’s what outside cats do.

Len has always been a screw-up. He never does what he was asked to, only what he wants to.

I generally called any pet I cared about by name, but hey that’s just me.

Missy-Cat would climb a 7-foot wood fence, jump into the next yard, then jump over a 4-foot chain link fence into the backyard of a house on the next street. THEN she wou sit and scream because she couldn’t (?) get back over the chain link fence. So Daddy had to walk around the block, find an unlocked gate, locate Her Majesty, then pick her up and frog march her (Tail-first carry was my way to drive home my displeasure) back around the block to home. We finally got the cash together to replace the old wooden fence with a climb-proof vinyl one.
