When my husband and I first started dating we discovered that one of the things we had in common was that both our dads – extremely intelligent men: my father a professor, and his a chemical engineer – LOVED Hee Haw. I’m guessing the Hee Haw Honeys might have had something to do with it . . .
I used to watch that with Granny in her bedroom .. she’d often brush my hair during it. I miss her so much! My husband brushes my hair now, I think she’d love him :)
Where, oh where are you tonight? Why did you leave me here all alone? I searched the world over and I thought I found true love. You met another and Thbbbbbt! You were gone!
I watched a few bits and pieces of Hee haw. Janna Jae was the best fiddler on the show. The seventies country look was a little odd…. no offense to those who grew up in the seventies

3-4 times a day on Circle Network. None of the local cable systems carry it so I had to rig an antenna to the TV.

I miss Rowan and Martin’s Laughin, but it was tightly tied to topics of the day so … that and I can’t afford $100 for the DVD set.

TV Land has some of them old shows. The Roku streaming device also has a lot of retro channels with on-demand content.

No one who misses “Hee Haw” is intelligent enough to read this comic strip.
