I’m more concerned with the lack of a plan to end the dysfunctional partisanship that is dragging America down to third world status. The wealthy [and that includes much of Congress] will not have a significantly different lifestyle, but already the US is far behind the other G7 nations in terms of healthcare, education quality/cost, wealth inequity, social care, and efficient/effective governing. As long as the battle for party dominance goes on, We The People are casualties of war. We need a government that works together for all its people, not just a favored few.

This current election could be made into a movie: Night of the Living MItch, the Republican Zombie Apocalypse, Trumpenstein’s Monster, World War T(rump), etc. stay safe my friends.

What does he have to worry about? Even if, miracle of miracles, Georgia elects two Democrats, Mitch still has his place at the Senate feed trough, and Trump just gave his wife a cushy job. He still wields a lot of power as a disruption in the Senate.

McConnell has been setting up to disrupt the economy for the incoming Biden administration and does not care who gets hurt as long as he retains the power of the Senate. He is planning for a big Republican win in 2022 in both House and Senate, since he figures that the Biden administration will be blamed for a poor economy. You are seeing a totally unprincipled person here. I sincerely hope he has miscalculated this time around due to his failure to understand the pandemic effects on both economy and society as a whole.
