That’s quite the set up for a kid. He must come from a very affluent family, like Bill Gates.

Candy canes, gum drops, gingerbread… not creepy to me. Now, if the yard was filled with anti-reality hate signs, I’d run like hell.

A have a friend who owns a web development company. She runs the business out of what used to be a spare living room in her house. She has about a half dozen computers and twice as many monitors. It’s a bit more organized than Jeffery’s “lab,” but it still looks like a 1970’s missile launch facility.

Is anybody out there old enough to remember Little Lulu comics, especially from the 50s and 60s? This reminds me of the Witch Hazel stories Lulu told about Hazel’s house in the deep dark woods and Hazel’s niece, Itch. Loved those.

I want a place like that. It has to have monstrous corner horn speakers and a perfect 25 wpc amp. Media library with J. S. Bach, Bljnd Lemon Jefferson, Louis Armstrong, Ewan McColl, Mitchell’s Christian Singers, Jimmie Rodgers, Jimmy Rogers (blues), Miles Davis, William Byrd, Charlie Bird Parker, Webb Pierce, and a bunch of others in 24/96 uncompressed files. The entire contents of the LOC, digitally remastered Addams Family, complete works of Kurosawa, Fields, Marx Bros, Alec Guinness, William Powell, Veronica Lake, Peter Sellers except Pink Panthers,… LOTS More. A UNIX supercomputer with a GUI and hyper fast VPN.

OMG, a soul mate, but also a techie. I could visit, sit in a comfortable chair with hot cocoa and chocolate chip cookies and enjoy listening/watching examples of your taste. Wonderful list. Except maybe Jimmy Rodgers, if you mean the “Honeycomb” one.
