I like the angle of view on the first panel! So, that’s Aquarius’s angle! He going to hold the blue balloon hostage till he finds what he wants to know? He’s not as dumb as he looks.

3rd panel view puts Aquarius farther away from the crowd but not completely out of sight. Is he even aware that he should be afraid ?  Seems he is only aware of Pouch while a “Tiger” may creep up silently from behind to do the sleeper (permanent) hold on him.

Great scene layout in panel 2 and I like the glow around the pole lights in P2 & p3.

All of this chase business must mean that Pouch isn’t privy to the contents of the info he passes along. Like Frank Martin in The Transporter movies, he never “opens the package.” Otherwise he’d be able to write a duplicate note for a replacement balloon, right?

“Here’s my bargain: I get the balloon and you go on living!”

I imagine this time, Pouch will be more forgiving if Tiger “doesn’t know his own strength”…

Interesting. The story started out about drugs, and now we’ve gone into our second week of essentially a new story, with Aquarius out to learn Pouch’s secret.(I’m hoping Tiger Lily gets rid of Aquarius; he’s not a very interesting character. That would wrap this storyline and then we’ll get 8 weeks of Mama Bellum taking charge. I wonder if she looks like Anthony Perkins?)

Why doesn’t he pop it so the drugs fall out?

kinda hard to take the drama of the Blue Balloon Incident seriously.

And, yes, I understand, there is a message in the balloon. it’s still silly.

,,,,,kinda figgered out which one’s the “blue” one by now, guys……Oh! I remember now: this is a throwback to the ’ol Chester Gould days!

EPISODE 329: When Attention Deficit Disorder and Drugs Collide

1-FRENCHY: First, a right cross, followed by a left upper cut! Yeah! That’s what I’ll give him. Hmmm. I’m lost…

2-NARKY MARK: This day keeps getting better. People to sell these balloons to! Let’s see…six bucks each will give me a cool four dollar profit!

3-HANG ON! Over to my right…people gliding around effortlessly! How can they be moving like that? I must check it out!

This is a novel and interesting plot twist. Hope it can be maintained. And the artwork is stellar!

What? No box indicating that his coat is pink? Am I supposed to be a mind-reader here?

Negotiate? With the guy they suspect ordered their associate to be killed?

Oh no, he’s not….Aquarius about to walk inside a skating rink carrying balloons. Does this guy really want to stand out from the crowd? Tiger Lily to proprietor “You’ve seen a guy come in here carrying balloons”? Proprietor " Yeah, that’s him by the vending machine".

Aquarius is really quite the optimist, isn’t he? He thinks Pouch will have to bargain with him! He didn’t bargain on Pouch’s having an enforcer, Tiger Lilly, who is hot on his trail. Maybe Aquarius should move in closer to the Skating Rink, where there are lots of people and lights. But instead he’s hanging back by the trees, where Tiger Lilly could easily sneak up from behind and grab him in a choke hold without anyone noticing until too late, lights out for Aquarius. And that pink hoodie with the Peace Sign on its back makes him so easy to recognize!
