I hate commercials, they bore the hell out of you.

I’d be surprised the channel they’re watching has nothing but infomercials.

My sister loves a very clean house.

It seems that there are 50 ( or so ) minutes of commercials & 10 minutes of program!!

Must be watching an NFL game (I know the seasons over, but their commercial breaks are ridiculous).

Did you all know there was and actor in the 40s named JOhN GARFIELD? I am only now learning about him on TCM

How true to life. Sometimes commercials run for six minutes, especially on cable channels showing repeats of old shows. Sometimes I forget what I was watching!

Jon forgot to clean the bathrooms

I DVR everything and “FF” thru the commercials.

HA I have some comercials are 24 hours long It is called the all day sales channel

Commercials? More like, co-bore-cials.

back as a kids cartoons where 24 minutes long and had three breaks for commercial. Today I think its 21 minutes for a show and four breaks. And if you watch something on say Netflix or Amazon Prime where they give you the option to skip the intro and more then half the credits, its down to 18 or 19 minutes.

Must have been the last half of David Muir.

The producers of that show must be slow

National news on CBS & ABC, one story and 5-6 minutes of drug commercials. I quit watching news that they have reported for three days. Covid vaccines and Congress then commercials .

The major reason I quit watching commercial TV

Must be one of those life insurance commercials with an aging former celebrity and a bunch of paid bit actors pretending to be customers.

And that’s precisely why I watch tv with my DVR. Even if I’m only a 1/2 hour behind. It’s a great satisfaction to fast-forward through all the inane commercials – especially those that continually insist that I ask my Doctor if “it’s right for me?”

I know how that is, especially when channels like CMT or Bet have really long commercial breaks in-between the movies they show.

Last night we were in the middle of an “Andy Griffith Show” rerun when my dad got a phone call and we had to pause. During the pause I brushed my teeth, washed my face, cleaned my room, and played Snoopy’s Town Tale. So I relate to Garfield/Jon.

Commercials either insult your intelligence or brain wash with racial intent.

You can come to my house and do mine! That would take you about a week…

This is why I rarely watch television.

We seldom watch anything live these days, just to avoid the commercials. We start taping when the show starts, wait about 15-20 minutes to start watching, then fast forward through the commercials and get to the end at the same time as if we’d sat through all the breaks. Works great.

Time shift: Must be Sunday Night Football on NBC. A long string of commercials that they occasionally interrupt with a Football Game.

TV programs are just something to distract you while waiting for the next round of commercials.

Did he miss the five minutes of news on the Network news hour?…Ask "spokesman “rob” on the legal help line for more news at 11:00….

All of you people that hate commercials. How do you expect the networks to pay for the show you watch and pay their employees. Have you ever thought about that. Somebody has to pay for this stuff.

I prefer long commercial breaks over political advertisements that are full of the same (blank) everyday. #wellbeback :)
