Somehow, I can’t seem get past the taste of sulfur flavored marshmallows….

As a Jew, not sure I appreciate that sign on the gate.

I’m not sure why some posters are thinking that the “Abandon hope…” saying is from a concentration camp. I never heard of one with that saying when I took German history. As Wlly Blly and Durak mentioned, the saying “Arbeit macht frei” was above the camps. Here’s a brief snippet from an article in the online “The Wire” mentioning that in relation to Dachau: the camp’s logo – Arbeit Macht Frei (‘Work makes you free’) – emblazoned on the main prisoner gate, that greeted the hapless inmates of most other camps also with the same macabre relish.

Nobody wants to see this from the marshmallow’s point of view! 8^D
