There are lots of great ways of dealing with porch pirates.

Now why didn’t I think of that

I think she should put something exciting in it before she puts it back on the porch.

Those little plastic bags we fill when walking the dog. But put a red FRAGILE label on the box first. Makes it easier to see. You don’t want that 5h1t sitting on the porch all day. :)

fill them up with your garbage – so there is a bit of weight to full them

You could burn it in the fireplace.

Great way to get rid of the used kitty litter.

Way back when I was in an apartment, I got rid of garbage that way.

Porch thieves a rarity in the country. Had a retired relative who entertained himself by using postage paid return envelopes to send dead leaves, lawn clippings to advertisers.

Fill it full of trash and then seal it up.

Clever idea! Just add some dirty diapers sealed in a zipper bag.

I had an old lawnmower that was totally shot, but the trashmen wouldn’t take it and neither would the dump (because it used to have oil and gasoline in it)… so I “accidentally” left it by the side of the road in my backyard, and somebody did me a favor by taking it…

I’ve done this, I put phonebooks in the box. A few days later, there was poop on my doormat.
