Too all AARP only sells insurance now. Haven’t heard boo from them, when DT wanted to get rid of it.

It will happen to you. There is a gene that gets turned on when you age that causes you digestive process to slow down. If you want to be hungry again for breakfast, you have to stop eating 16 hours earlier.

This is the same gene that causes men to wear black knee socks with sandals.

Working from home during the pandemic is a boon in this area. I have my large meal at lunchtime and “fill in” at dinner.

When you’re retired, the only thing that breaks up the day are the mealtimes. Sometimes you get impatient. You know you’re going to have supper sooner or later, so might as well get it out of the way.

All AARP wanted to do was push us over the hill. Received first bump when I was 49, a year earlier than their begin date. Fell for the hype and signed on, Soon learned the game behind the snail mail, brochures, and tabloids. Quit within a year. Fortunately, that was the pre-digital flood days, and and now we are way too old to buy insurance of any kind. As Maggie Smith said, I don’t even buy green bananas.

I enrolled a friend in AARP on her forty-third birthday.

    She wasn’t amused.

That’s what you get for trying to beat the dinner rush.

They even followed us to Canada. But we joined Canadian Association of Fifty Plus (CARP changed its name). Much better. No health insurance ads.

What is a push notification? AARP is one of those non-profits whose sole purpose is to make those in charge rich.
