I don’t mind so much the neighborhood dogs using my lawn as their personal lavatory. But I do get a little disturbed when they moon me while doing so, however. 8>)
I had a dog that was shy about pooping. Would go to a secluded corner of the back yard to poop and on walks, I had to look away. Quirky is the word I used.
My female dog lifts her leg and props herself up to pee on a lot of things, poops with pride when it’s time, and once peed on a tire. Only once. The only time I have ever walked her past a whitewall. I agreed with her. We take long walks every day, no matter the weather, and she never fails to entertain. I don’t rush her along, she needs to smell and check out everything. Then she is very calm and happy indoors when we get back.
We had a female dog who would not pee if anyone was watching. We were living in an RV at the time, and it was difficult to take her out on a leash to empty her bladder because she wouldn’t do it if we were watching. We ended up staking her out for 10 to 15 minutes at a time so she could do her business in private and then get back inside before the nearby coyotes got to her.

He’s leaving a note for the other neighborhood dogs and doesn’t want you to know what’s in it. Not because it’s about you, just that it’s a dog thang.

See how you’d like it if you had to pee on a tree in the park.

Dogs are like people. You can’t be sure what you’re getting.
