The last panel should have Wally thinking: “Bob framed me!” Yes, folks, Bob is part of the Drabble family. But he is sorely neglected — like an unloved stepchild. Woe is Bob. Woe is me whenever I think of poor neglected Bob. Birds’ lives matter! Especially when we are talking about a rare South American parrot. Rare Robert deserves some attention.
I have been short a soup/serving spoon from my every day silverware for quite a while. I took out 2 settings of my good china, glasses, and silverware for holiday dinners – guess what was in with the silverplate soup spoons? Well, at least I know I still count correctly to 8 and did not throw it out.

Is it really a ‘wiener’ dog specific thing, or is it any breed of dog?

Erma Bombeck use to say just once she would like to visit the place where odd socks went. BTW loved the dog’s look in the third panel.

Our smallest mutt understands “Drop it”. So, he finds socks, etc, finds my wife, drops the sock, gets a treat.
