Today is:

National Tell a Fairy Tale Day

National Pistachio Day

National Skip the Straw Day. I only use a straw when I’m having a milkshake or a root beer float, so I probably use fewer than 10 straws a year. I know I still have straws from a box I bought 10 years or more ago.

From yesterday’s comments about British TV shows – I have not seen a lot of British TV, but of those I’ve seen, my favorites are Fawlty Towers and Bean. I also enjoy The Great British Baking Show – such fancy things they create!. I have not seen Are You Being Served in many years, but as I recall, I liked it. I also like Keeping Up Appearances.

So it makes sense to brag with a big house and a pompous doorway after all – at least for mice!

Uh oh, looks like a R.O.U.S. (Rodent of unusual size) has moved into the warehouse. On another note, saw a rabbit and three juncos while out walking today.
