Sundays is always fun days with these wonderful wordless wonders called BOZO that comes like a fresh fragrant breeze even after so many decades and era has passed and still brings great joy and sheer cheer every day!
Take your time, relax, and enjoy every panel of these excellent epitomes of picture speaking thousand words, friends.
For the tremendously talented master of perspective artwork FoXo Reardon draws every panel as if the scenes in them were picturesque pictures of a realistic three dimensional cartoon world of depth and details, every scene is complete, with foregrounds and backgrounds.
Expressions through art perhaps began before expression through words did. Art surely evolved before languages did in the written form. And comics is essentially a medium of expression through artwork although usually words is used to convey the subjects.
BOZO a rare gem from the past where FoXo tells his funny tales with the power of his awesome artwork alone, without any characters uttering a word. Pantomime comics is perhaps the purest form of comics as art and BOZO is the purest of pantomime comics, as me has not seen anyone in BOZO ever utter a word.
But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.
Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to more!
…
And yes of course me obviously gives another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master cartoonist FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic ever excellent evergreen entertainer BOZO!
—Collector is the first strip I can recall with Fuzzy in the background of all four panels. (He is making up for strips in which he doesn’t make an appearance at all.)
1) HELP YOU HELPS ME: Bozo needing a ride finds one only he needs to push the car to start it!
2) JUST DESERTS: Bozo fall into the water system from an open manhole. A fatman laughs at him so Bozo hoists the heavy man and uses him to seal the dangerous opening up!
3) PAPER GIVEAWAY: Bozo cleans up the paper left around the park and gives to a gentleman to read for free!

1. Whenever you thumb a lift
And one out of a million stops in the drift
Let it be spoken
That just his engine’s broken
Oy, and that’s the rub
From me you get a thumbs up
2. A manhole is a dangerous thing
Makes one man go “Plop!” and another stick in…
3. Collecting the last weeks remains that is how
Today’s newspapers are made
At least I think it’s like this, I’m afraid
But the environmental aspect deserves a bow

1 Bozo still gets to ride on the bumper on the downhill slopes.
2 The Officer is torn between helping the fat man out of the hole and chasing after Bozo. Be fair, which would you rather do?
3 Umbrella Guy swears he left his newspaper around here somewhere.

2. You think it’s funny, Tubby? Well, let’s see how like being a manhole cover!

Hitchhiking hardship. Drain plug. Sold like new. Most people can get any job and keep it for few weeks if they can lie well enough.

As usual, Foxo gave us three nice strips, especially the third one, with Fuzzy in all four panels! Thanks, Foxo. :-)

I hope the engine just stalled and although it wouldn’t start again by itself, Bozo will push-start it and then he can ride inside.
