If you play a poor game and you win – then your opponent was poor and you didn’t learn anything to get better. If you play a great game and you lose – you understand the standard to have to move up to. Ultimately the key is getting better – victories come after that.

Granny, are you sure that it is not if you just participate? There isn’t a trophy for everyone regarding how you played but rather if you were there.
It’s a reflection of real life, right? It teaches young people that everyone is a winner all of the time for just appearing.
The military guys called it “face time”.
