Sweet Pucky and empathetic Goldie, trying to talk Elvis down…. and then along comes Lupin! Guess who will get Elvis down the quickest?!

When I was a kid, I was stupid enough to try to rescue a kitten from the top of a curtain. Almost 50 years later, I still have the claw scars running down my wrist.

When the rod breaks, the curtains will fall, and down will come Elvis, Pucky and all!

Lupin, BOOP his tail!

Elvis is, I fear to say, and I know you will be astonished that I say this, since it is so completely out of character and quite unlike my usual cheery comments, but the nature of the situation and the encroaching threat of Lupin’s intervention make this prediction seem inescapable, however much we may regret the necessity, doomed.

This reminds me of the nov 1st strip in the 2018 Halloween special that began on the 8th and ran until Nov 2nd. Oct 23rd too.

This is the reason my house has no curtains except in the shower.

I am sure that if Elvis should take a fall, he would do it with the greatest of dignity. ;)

I put pillows on top of the curtain rods and the kittens took a nap. True story. Im also impressed with three legged Pucky

The day Elvis realized he was no longer a kitten.

I laughed so hard at this. And now I must apologize to Elvis, who is OF COURSE always dignified, and always in the right.

Lupin’s help would be the fastest way down. But Lupin probably oughta jump back on the dragon wall statue if he does boop Elvis. Just to be safe.

My cats would dispute right-of-way on a horizontal redwood log thirty feet in the air. I once saw Kirby “boop” Johnny Depp off such a log. He landed in the deep forest humus, meowed that he was OK and had intended to get down at that point, anyway.

“Pride, commeth before the fall” – never seemed so apt before!

Maybe Camera One can get a shot of Elvis and turn him into one of those inspirational “Hang in There” posters that used to be sold on bookstores.

Very scary news for me, the recent shooting that happened, in boulder, occurred within about a one and half miles of my house, I have been going to that grocery store all of my life, and I can’t believe that something like that would happen there. I ask you for all of the joy and hope you can give to everyone in my city, and especially to those who lost loved ones to the shooting.
