Perrier. I remember someone saying it was gauche but he pronounced it Go-shay.

I got a kick out of Rita’s “80’s” hair and really long nails.

Very big hair. Teal too.

Is that a Honk if you’re DEVO sticker on that giant monitor? (in the mid 80’s I had a big clunky keyboard and a small screen in a big monitor on my desk. If you put a 5 inch stack of legal paper sized greenbar printouts on top of the monitor for 30 minutes – and then replaced it with your Mrs Field’s Muffin or cookies – they would warm up nicely.) We also use to heat up “lunches” in the break room filling kodak copier (that did everything – it even made lunch!). It was good to be a twenty something in IT in the 80s.

And I was referring to Rita’s hairstyle (before the latest one) as “big hair”! As a 60’s kid I was around 30 during this period, so I missed out on most of this “good stuff”. I did however enjoy the slang of the period. The one thing that I really disliked from this period was permed “Afro” style hair on white guys, and I wasn’t too crazy about the style on white women either.

“Trippendicular”? Man, I haven’t heard a word like that in… in… ever. Imagine getting that word in a spelling bee.
