HOW I WISH BRIAN CRANE ENDED THE PICKLES COMIC STRIP FOR GOOD BY NEXT YEAR IN 2022! I BET A FEW NEWSPAPERS ARE DROPPING THE STRIP BECAUSE OF THIS FEW TIMES A WEEK MIX OF NEW AND RERUN STRIPS IN THE LAST YEAR AND 3 MONTHS MORE OR LESS!

when all you have is a stream or lake, and you are humping 60lbs on your back, soap is what you use. Or, if you have no hot water in your house, you jump into the shower, get wet, turn off the water, soap up(even your hair) turn on the water and rinse off. Quickly. That is how habits get started

I’ve often wondered where Sylvia got her slim physique and pert nose from? Neither Earl nor Opal ever had those traits.

Old or not, in this day and age of Covid confinement, I think smelling good takes priority over looking good.

Today’s strip reminds me of my parent’s, Earl of my dad who get lazy on cleaning, my mom would complain about his body order and he go grumbling to the bathroom to shower and clean up. Dad could care less. Brought back memories.

And at their age, that defines love!

With poor eyesight comes better housecleaning. (“What dust bunnies? I don’t see anything.”)

My bride and I feel the same as Opal. I am the ugly, good smelling one and she is the gorgeous, good smelling one.
