Love the details, like the poster and calculator. And that watch band!
I bought an HP-15C and HP-16C back when they first came out. Doing Hex calculations on the HP16C was nice, but it would have been great to have had it 10 years earlier when I was programming on IBM-360s and 1130s.
But a week or so ago, I found an ap that lets me have an HP-15C on my iPhone. I still have my calculators, but now I don’t need to carry the HP-15C anywhere. Made my day!
Do you do these throwback styles from memory, or have a guide? Quite well done — from one of us old enough to remember, who occasionally still remembers … or thinks he does. (Where was I going with this?)
I had a shirt just like Wes’, probably in about 1972, but I don’t think I ever saw a tie that big (at least a “serious” one), although ties were pretty darn big then (and I still have all mine – don’t ask me why, they certainly won’t come back into style in my lifetime [even if wearing ties does]).
